Das Fahrzeug im Detail

Shortly after purchasing the car, a set of RSNV Wing risers were installed at a cost of $1,100- these beautiful anodized 6061 billet aluminum pieces give the rear wing a more aggressive look while also moving it up and out of the direct line of the rear view mirror. A few months later, a set of Girodics brakes were installed along with Tarett Caliper Studs and GT3RS brake pads. These new brakes are the superior choice for track days as the rotors are designed to shed heat and reduce both fade and warping during heavy braking. On the suspension side of things, the 2020 GT4 was already pretty dialed in from the factory but to tighten things up even more, RSS Front Thrust Arm Bushings and Tarett Rear Toe Links were installed and a custom alignment was carried out with more aggressive specifications. Additionally, a DSC Sport Controller was installed which takes the PASM active suspension management to the next level-adjusting the damping of each shock in almost real time based on road conditions- this not only helps with performance on track but comfort on the road and is a truly transformative upgrade on any Porsche equipped with PASM. On the inside, two particularly notable upgrades have been made- a rear roll cage built by GMG Racing in Santa Ana, CA which gives greater rigidity in the chassis as well as a place to mount the Schroth 6-point racing harnesses with HANS for both the driver and passenger. The final performance modification was to open the exhaust a bit more, a Soul over axle pipe exhaust was installed, giving the car a great noise while helping it breathe a bit easier. But if you don’t want to listen to the exhaust on the way to the track or office, a Musicar Stage 2 Sound System was installed- a system designed to connect right up with the stock stereo, the Stage 2 kit consists of a new amplifier and drop in tweeter upgrade which do wonders for the Bose sound system. If you are looking to purchase a GT4 and you plan to track it, this car already checks so many boxes for desirable modifications and is ready to head straight to your nearest HPDE. This GT4 is offered with original books, manuals, window sticker and receipts from both the aftermarket upgrades as well as routine servicing.

When Porsche first debuted the Cayman in 2006, it was lauded for its good looks, predictable handling characteristics, and all-around fun to drive nature. A frequent winner of automotive magazine group tests, enthusiasts everywhere loved the Cayman. Still, people wanted Porsche to offer a step above the Cayman S. The 911 was flush with variants aimed towards track use, daily driving, and grand touring. Yet, the Cayman was only granted the base, S and for a limited time, the R-all of which were down on power compared to the 911 and less focused than enthusiasts hoped. But nearly 10 years after its introduction, Porsche delivered. The Cayman GT4 was launched in 2015 and featured a variant of the Carrera S 3.8-liter Flat-6, a track-tuned suspension, manual transmission, and bodywork with increased downforce. As soon as the car went on sale, driving enthusiasts everywhere began scooping them up and pressing them into track and canyon duty. With the overwhelming success of the first generation, Porsche knew that they needed to create an even more exciting option for the follow-up. When the 718 generation GT4 debuted in July 2019, the upgrades were significant. Engine displacement grew to 4.0-liter and the car now produced 414 horsepower and had a much wider powerband than the outgoing model. New enhanced bodywork equated to 50% more downforce and the front suspension and brakes were borrowed from the GT3 to make the car even more capable. Offered with both a manual or PDK gearbox, the 718 GT4 can be optioned for your preferred driving style and is one of the most exciting new cars on the road.
