I purchased this beautiful 1983 Porsche 911SC Cabriolet from Manhattan Porsche + Audi in August of 1983. I have a copy of the original window sticker and complete records from that date except for annual DIY oil changes. The tool kit is present as is the convertible top boot. I have the original dealer key tags as well as the disposable plastic gloves and air compressor that were included with the sale.
The clutch was replaced around 27000 miles, the chain tensioners were upgraded and a pop off valve installed at that time. All work was performed either at Porsche or Bodymotion in Wayside NJ, a Porsche racing specialist. The top and clear rear window are original to the car and in very good condition. The vinyl dashboard is solid and the leather seats are not ripped or torn in any way, having received regular applications of Lexol over the years. Original carpets are unmolested. The vehicle was delivered „radio delete“, I have the dash panel. It has an aftermarket now. The front of the hood was repainted due to stone chips, otherwise there has been no bodywork and the original clear coat is such that I do not use wax. I have babied this wonderful car since new. Health conditions force sale at this time.
