Porsche 912

The interior in the car is finished in black vinyl with added tartan inserts. The door panels, dash, seats and headliner are all in excellent condition. The gauges are original and in beautifully preserved condition. When the interior was restored, the owner at the time also chose to install a wooden shift knob and steering wheel as well as an aftermarket horn button. CPR will install a correct steering wheel, shift knob and recover the front seats if the new owner would prefer.

The engine in the car is period correct and runs outstanding. It remains in its stock 1.6L configuration and produces about 90 horsepower. The gearbox has standard gear sets and shifts nicely through all four gears with a tight and sorted linkage. The engine presents in very nice cosmetic condition with correct finishes.

The 912 was, until recently, one of the most underrated air-cooled Porsches to consider as an enthusiast. Although not as powerful as a 911, 912’s offer a wonderfully nimble experience at the wheel. Having a much lighter engine out the back, the car’s balance is excellent with great handling characteristics and a driving experience that will constantly put a smile on your face.
