Design

Porsche relies on a design that has been in force since 1948 (Porsche 356). Evolution after evolution, we are still anything but tired of the characteristic signature of the primal 911 (1964). As far as we are concerned, the 964 is one of the most successful of the bunch. The lines are still very pure and uncomplicated.
Especially in Schiefergrau, this handsome Carrera 4 shows its timeless side. The Porsche classic has been repainted in its entirety, so that only the mileage indicates that it will last for a while. The 964 interior is at least as straightforward: minimalist and a tad spartan, even with those narrow door panels and a whole battery of analog clocks in the dashboard. Such an interior can be nicely finished in all colors, as long as it is black (leather).

Technic

With all due respect for the current “downsize effect” that we are currently experiencing in the automotive industry, this is the real thing: an atmospheric 6-cylinder boxer engine with a capacity of 3.6 liters. Air-cooled, let’s be clear about that right away. At the time of the Porsche 964, the turbo engine was exclusively assigned to the 911 that actually bore that name.
In the early 90s, the Porsche 911 was not available in as many flavors as today, but the Carrera 4 is of course an old acquaintance: four-wheel drive without frills. The 964 Carrera 4 has 250 horses to distribute and around the 0-100 km / h sprint within 5.9 counts. The top speed is 260 km / h, your lower jaw on the asphalt after seeing this beautiful specimen. What are you waiting for?
