The car was delivered new in Cincinnati, Ohio, to its first owner, who kept the car for three years and drove it just under 7,000 miles. The car was then purchased by the second and longest-term owner that kept the car for over 17 years and added an additional 9,000 miles. In 2006, the second owner moved the vehicle to a home in Florida, where the car spent the remainder of his ownership being driven sparingly and regularly maintained by Porsche of Orlando. In 2018, the car changed hands to its third and most recent owner that drove the car on sunny days in Orlando. Over the last three years, the car was maintained by German Excellence in Winter Park, Florida.
Upon arrival to CPR Classic, the car received a complete color sand and buff to address minor flaws and surface scratches in the paint. We then detailed the interior extensively and performed a fresh service to include fluids. The car meters as original paint aside from the hood, which we believed was likely repainted due to rock chips. The convertible top, although in excellent condition and fully functional, has a minor tear in the canvas. The car will be delivered to its new owner with a brand new Black German canvas top installed.
