In 1994, Porsche’s 993 model was the last replication of the classic 911, which drew from the original 1964 design. With the new emissions and output requirements, the 911 models would need to be water-cooled, and necessarily a completely different design. Thus, the 1998, 993 models, such as this Carrera S, would be the last descent of the world’s best-known sports car. With Porsche only having produced 993 of them, 1998 Carrera S models are quite rare.
