As far as 911’s come, the 997 GT2 RS remains one of the near-mythical cars ever. It is the culmination of both immense power from the 3.6L Flat Six Twin Turbo, and the precise Porsche engineering the brand is particularly renowned for.

It is often a cliche to state that a certain car is one of a kind, but the GT2 RS is truly one that obtains this status. It was, at the time of its reveal, the most extreme 911 ever made and with such claims come immense figures: 620 hp and 700 Nm in a car that only weighs 1445 kg, with a 0-100 km/h of only 3.5 seconds! And all that power is handled by a 6 speed manual gearbox which brings the car to a top speed of 330 km/h in 6th gear.

The GT2 RS was the last turbo-charged GT-product from Porsche that had a manual gearbox and this elevates it to a certain rarity which only makes the car an even better ‚beast‘.
