Overall, the car is in a very beautiful and largely original and unrestored condition. The paintwork was renewed in silver many years ago and, like the entire car, has a very nice patina. The taillights were exchanged for the more modern oval T2 taillights over the decades. This change wasn't uncommon to give the cars the look of the newer variant. Originally the car had the two individual round taillights on each side, which could also be retrofitted.
The engine is the original engine with "matching numbers", while the gearbox has been exchanged for a somewhat more recent gearbox of the same construction.
The underbody is in very nice condition and was revised in the past and additionally preserved with transparent wax by the current owner. Both hoods and the doors are stamped with the body number.
The interior is completely original and can only be found very rarely.
The car has a contemporary hardtop and the sought-after aluminum-steel rims as accessories.
Overall, the patina gives the car a very special look.
The car can be viewed by arrangement. It is customs cleared in Germany and the EU. The Swiss license plates were only used for the photos.
