General

The Porsche 356 is the first production model from Porsche AG. Ferry Porsche's vision was to build the perfect sports car that combines both sportiness and comfort. In 1948 the time had come and the first Porsche 356 was completed.
The Porsche 356 was built for 17 years and during this time more than 76,000 vehicles were built. This sports car has been continuously developed over the years, so that this series can be divided into four different stages of development.
The first series, also known as the original model, was produced between 1948 and 1955 and could be ordered as a coupe, cabriolet and speedster. In addition, you could choose between four different engine variants.

The next stage of development was produced between 1955 and 1959 and could also be ordered as a coupe, cabriolet and speedster, but a convertible D and a model with a hardtop were also added. The Porsche 356 A was significantly more agile and also more comfortable than its predecessor.

The Porsche 356 B was the next stage, built between 1959 and 1963. This differed mainly by the higher mounted headlights and a steeper front line on the front fenders. Technically, the brake cooling in particular has been improved in order to prevent the drum brakes from overheating.
The Porsche 356 C was presented in 1963 as the conclusion of the Porsche 356 model series. This sports car already had some technical innovations such as brake discs on all four wheels. These developments should later also find their way into the Porsche 911.

history

This Porsche 356 C was delivered to the first owner in Italy in 1965. In 2011, the current owner of this beautiful 356 bought the vehicle at Retro Classics in Stuttgart. Unfortunately, not much can be said about the history of the vehicle. The fact is that the vehicle is equipped with an original Porsche 356 SC engine. This last expansion stage of the Porsche 356 has an output of 95 hp and enables a top speed of almost 200 km/h.

particularities

Equipped with the SC engine, the Porsche 356 offers great driving pleasure. The extra power of 20 hp is clearly noticeable. The Carfax of the vehicle is available and proves the European delivery.

Furnishing

The color combination with the exterior color red and black full leather interior corresponds to the first delivery from 1965. The vehicle has already been repainted in the original color and the paint is in very good condition. The vehicle is completely original, only the safety belts for the driver and front passenger were installed. The 356 C already has a 4-disc brake system as standard, which means that the vehicle achieves significantly better deceleration values.
