Porsche 911 Backdate

This Porsche RSR homage is based on a 1985 Porsche 3.2 and has been backdated to a long hood 1973 RSR specification using Paul Stephens RS Technik Lightweight body parts. This includes the front and rear wings, bonnet,rear ducktail and sunroof delete. The brakes and suspension have been extensively upgraded and make for the ideal balance for fast road or light track use.

This example benefited from a gearbox refurbishment by Autostrasse in 2019 and an engine rebuild was completed only 11,710 miles ago. We have taken the opportunity to complete a full engine leak down test, which showed on average less than a 2% leak on the cylinders which is a good indication to confirm that the rebuild has been carried out to a very high standard.

Further improvements include the beautifully retrimmed leather and cord race seats with racing harnesses, a Momo Prototipo steering wheel along with those perfect 15” Fuchs wheels running period Michelin TB 15 tyres.

Conversions like these are not cheap by any means and thousands have been spent on this homage wisely.

A beautiful example that needs to be seen to be fully appreciated!
