Porsche 993 Targa
This astonishing Porsche 993 Targa has covered just 6500 miles from new and has had just two owners, plus a main dealer service history. As such, it’s in as-new condition and is a true collector’s item. Being a 1997 car, it’s one of the last of the air-cooled 911s.
Finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with 18-inch two-piece Targa-unique wheels, the car boasts air-conditioning, lowered Sports suspension, hard-backed Sports seats in black leather, aluminium handbrake lever and gear knob, and a rear wiper. The bodywork and interior are all unmarked.
The last, and second, owner bought the super-low mileage 911 in 2013 and has kept it in controlled storage, taking it out only for its annual MoT and service at the local Porsche Centre. The last service was in December 2018 when the brake fluid was also changed. The car comes with its original manuals and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, plus an eye-catching ‘Targa’ registration plate.
Unless otherwise stated, all our cars are put through a thorough independent mechanical inspection and any faults found are rectified before sale. They are also issued with 12 months MoT (without any advisories) and a comprehensive six month warranty underwritten by us. Philip Raby says: “The 993 Targa was only built in 1996 and 1997, so is a rare car. This one is unique in having such a very low mileage, and would be perfect for a collection or, even better, for someone to use and enjoy as an as-new 993. I love the Targa concept with its glass roof which, at the touch of a button, slides back under the rear window to give wind in the hair motoring. Plus, when closed, the glass roof gives the cockpit a light and airy feel. It also retains the classic 911 side profile, making the 993 Targa a great-looking car.”
