This is No. 2068 of 2358 built original 911 3.2 Cabriolets from 1986. And probably the only known example in this state of preservation:
On June 18, 1986 the car was delivered to the first owner by the then Porsche dealer CIGOLLA in Waldshut-Tiengen. Although the vehicle was intended for Switzerland, the owner insisted on equipping this vehicle with the coveted 231 HP engine without a catalytic converter and then taking it to his home town in Switzerland. In the original letter, this first owner is still the permanent holder. Due to the description of the son within the family, only two entries have been made to date. This vehicle, which is completely in the delivery condition, has no repainting according to the paint layer measurement and looks as if it had survived the last 35 years completely untouched. The car has a total mileage of only 22,200 kilometers, making it one of the very few vehicles that is characterized by very low mileage and is in a condition similar to that of a year-old car, both visually and technically. Despite the very low mileage, this car was regularly serviced, also due to the strict regulations in Switzerland, and subjected to an emissions test almost every year, during which the mileage was documented. We have already had several 3.2s with a low mileage, but we have never seen such an extraordinary specimen before and we get wet eyes every time with this perfectly preserved vehicle and its unique history.
The special equipment is also interesting because two rare options were installed there: On the one hand, the vehicle received an electrically operated convertible top. In addition, an air conditioning system was ordered, which was usually very rarely ordered.
The car has been fully serviced in two Porsche centers in Switzerland until the end and has the complete operating manual including the logbook, as well as the complete set of keys and tools, which is in an unused and partially originally welded condition.
Due to the constant care, the vehicle has been preserved over the years and is in a consistently flawless, largely as new condition and collector's condition.
