For whatever reason, the documents available show that the first owner, Mr. Rudolf L., bought the Porsche back 7 months later, on July 15, 1994, and kept it for a further 5 years.
In April 1999 the car was then sold to Ms. Cordula B. who, according to the original vehicle registration document, drove it for 4 years with a delicate woman's hand.
In 2003, Georg H., then 57 years old, an acquaintance of Cordula B., bought this Porsche Targa and kept it for a further 21 years.
.
And yes, unfortunately it has to be said that G-models in this condition and with such a history have become extremely rare.
This Porsche Targa is in an exceptionally good condition, a paint layer measurement has shown that only the front hood has been repainted, and even then the paint values <300 mū are still very good.
The paintwork is definitely more than 23 years old, as the last owner had the car for that long and the repainting was done before his time. As can be seen in the pictures, there is no difference in color whatsoever.
What really makes this car so extraordinary is its overall state of preservation. As an expert and collector of these vehicles, I can only confirm that this car really impresses, especially in the details.
All gaps are 100% correct, the interior is in sensational condition, nothing looks worn, even the gear knob shows no signs of wear, problems such as crooked glove compartment lids or ashtrays or cracks in the dashboard are non-existent. The Targa roof fits perfectly and is still comparatively quiet even at higher speeds. Only the rubbers on the step strips have shortened slightly, but can be replaced on request.
This Porsche 911 Carrera Targa was delivered in the very rare color combination Venezia blue metallic with navy blue artificial leather and fabric with flannel stripes in blue/gray and with the very rare 7 and 8 x 15 inch Fuchs rims.
The service booklet is complete and the mileage can also be verified via invoices and TÜV reports. The last service was in July 2022 at 125,900 km. The car will of course receive another maintenance service before being sold.
Also relatively typical for 1988, this car was delivered with the 930/25 catalytic converter engine with 218 hp. Fortunately, there are now various suppliers offering performance enhancement kits to 231 hp, which we can also offer and install on request.
