Finished in Grand Prix White over a black leather interior, this Speedster remains wholly original regarding paint and interior.
During September and October of 2020, over $25,000 dollars of service and preparation was performed on this Speedster by Hendrick Porsche in North Carolina. The amount of work performed was extensive and included the following items:
-Major service with all fluids replaced
-New tires at all four corners
-Replacement windshield due to minor imperfections in the glass
-Complete overhaul to the windshield washer system due to age
-Oil cooler lines and thermostat were replaced
-Engine insulation padding replaced due to age
-Replacement dashboard trim on drivers side due to light imperfections
-Complete gearbox reseal due to light oil seepage
-Multiple other minor items
During this service, the owner also elected to have a factory Porsche Classic Radio installed, which integrates satellite radio and navigation. The original radio remains with the car and can be reinstalled at no charge if the new owner prefers. Following the extensive service, the vehicle received an excellent paint correction and detail, followed by an IGL ceramic coating to seal the paint and give it incredible depth and aesthetic.
The car was optioned from the factory as follows:
-California Emissions
-Rear luggage compartment instead of rear seats
-Blaupunkt Reno Radio
-Limited Slip Differential
-Sport Seats w/ Electric Adjustment- L/R
-Cruise Control
This 1989 Speedster is one of the finest original examples available anywhere today. The added provenance of being a former Seinfeld-owned car makes it extremely special.
