Initially delivered in Los Angeles, California, the car remained with its original owner until 2014. In 2014, showing 32,000 original miles, the car was purchased by a Florida-based CPR Client where the vehicle lived from 2014 to 2019. In 2019 CPR purchased the car from the second owner and sold it to its third and most recent owner in San Diego.
This ’84 Carrera shows as wholly original in terms of its exterior paint (except the hood, which was repainted due to rock chips), fixtures, and a completely original interior. The entirety of the body meters in factory spec from 3-6.5 mils throughout. The interior is in outstanding original condition with excellent carpet, door panels, dash, headliner, and original seats with limited stretching and no significant imperfections.
Before the most recent owner took possession, CPR performed a major service to the car, including all fluids, new air and fuel filters, belts, and service and recharge of the air conditioning system.
The most recent owner covered less than 1,000 miles during their year and a half ownership. The client has elected to sell the car as their family is growing and having the time to use and enjoy the Porsche has become limited.
The car’s factory options are as follows:
018 – Steering wheel with elevated hub
220 – Locking differential 40 %
395 – 16″ Fuchs forged alloy wheels, front 6″ with 205/55, rear 7″ with 225/50 tires
409 – Leather sports seats
469 – Black roofliner
This 1984 Carrera is a beautifully specced example that was optioned from the factory with a sporting purpose in mind. The factory-fitted limited-slip differential is a crucial option for performance driving. The interior is outfitted with sports seats. A black headliner makes for a very appealing visual aesthetic. If you are in the market for an unmolested G-Body Carrera that has been cared for to a peak level for the entirety of its life, this is a must-consider example.
