Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2

In an old sales advertisement from the USA, the vehicle description is as follows:
This 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera with sunroof is in very good condition. While it has higher mileage (201k), this car is mechanically sound and has been very well maintained by PCA (Porsche Club of America) member. I have attended many concour Porsche Club of America events with it, although it has not been raced/tracked.
Always garaged and hand detailed, no oil leaks with a very clean interior/exterior. Car has service history records dating back to mid 90's. All service done by respected Porsche Repair Shop (Don's AutoWerks). Over $8k on maintenance completed 08/08; Complete Rebuilt 915 Transmission, New Clutch, New Fly Wheel, New Starter, New Battery and 15K maintenance: Oil Change, Valve Adjustment, replaced distributor, spark plugs and wires.
Pre Purchase Inspection welcomed at potential new owner's expense.
When exported back to Germany, the vehicle had a mileage of 229,000 miles, making it an excellent example of the longevity of classic Porsches.
In 2021, we brought this car back to Germany and, after it arrived in our workshop, it was technically and visually revised for the current owner. A full restoration was not necessary, which is why the vehicle is currently in a very authentic and original condition.

As part of the revision in 2021, the following extensive technical and optical work was carried out on the vehicle:

• EU conversion including painting of the rear bumper and overhaul with conversion of the speedometer
• SACHS clutch set complete
• Full revision 915 manual transmission
• Overhaul shift linkage
• Stainless steel catalytic converter empty pipe with stainless steel sports rear silencer
• Extensive engine maintenance including revision of engine peripherals
• Ignition distributor cap, rotor, plugs and leads
• Shock absorber Bilstein Turbo version
• Ball joints renewed and turbo tie rods
• Conversion to original. Porsche 4-piston sports brake system
• Brake discs, pads and hoses, handbrake pads
• Tires Michelin Pilot Sport
• Stabilizer brackets and coupling rods
• Oil lines and pipes to the oil cooler completely replaced
• Lowering of the seats through modified seat consoles – ideal for tall drivers
• Headlining and vehicle carpet renewed

• Blaupunkt SQR 46 radio with DAB and Bluetooth including new speakers

All work is documented by invoices.
Before handing it over to the new owner, I will carry out a new TÜV inspection and have a current valuation report drawn up. The car will also be checked again by my supervising workshop.
