Unfortunately, surprisingly, I have to sell my childhood dream because we bought a house. This is a very late G-model with EZ02 / 89, G50 gearbox, US version from California that has been in Germany since 2014. He's got 151k miles and purrs like a one. I gave it to the "restoration" at the beginning of the year. Mainly because of the paint. But a lot of other things have been done, such as making the engine completely dry again, adjusting the clutch, bringing the climate up to the new standard, installing the sound system, repainting the targa roof and covering the inside, renewed seals in and around the driver's cab, renewed underbody protection, Door hinge on the left door repaired, minor electrical defects fixed, etc. In total, almost 15k euros were invested “privately”. Of course, I wouldn't have done that if I had known how to buy a house. Well, it hurts to have to sell the car in such great condition. The report is at a market price of 61,000 euros. TÜV will of course be redone. As extras I would list the sports steering wheel, the JBL sound system with subwoofer under the seat, Becker Mexico retro radio (hands-free system works, but is not built in). The targa roof makes wind noise just like any other. I just don't mean to say it doesn't make any noise. Driving with the roof open is better, quieter and cooler. The electric heating control is missing. However, the heating can be easily controlled with the levers. The front seats are relatively new and differ in appearance from the rear seats. The Fuchs rims are made of aluminum.
I'm not 100% sure about the matching numbers, but I'll look again. Documentation on the repairs and inspection of the report on request.
