1973 PORSCHE 911 CARRERA 2.7 RS
Int. Code: POR00031
The Carrera 2.7 RS was conceived as a racing car and built in a road version to allow homologation in competitions. The car outperformed in the competition fields and immediately became a real icon.
It proved relentless on the tracks, and usable on a daily basis. this was precisely the peculiarity most appreciated by enthusiasts, in fact after a first production limited to only 500 specimens, the Stuttgart company was forced to start a second production, in order to satisfy as many customers as possible.
Certainly the most distinctive feature of this model is represented by the “duckbill” spoiler which thanks to its shape allowed the car to remain glued to the asphalt and while channeling the air into the ongine compartment for the cooling down.
Completely original, one of the first 500 built. This car has never raced or suffered accidents.
It’s perfect in every detail, it is not easy to find another 1973 Porsche Carrera RS in these conditions, one of only 126 ever produced in the “tangerine” color.
The car is ready to be driven.
