The Porsche 911 is the most famous sports car of the German car manufacturer Porsche. The appearance of the car was designed by Ferdinand “Butzi” Porsche, grandson of Ferdinand Porsche, the founder of the Porsche brand. The known shape has hardly changed in the last 50 years. The Porsche 911E model was produced from 1969 to 1973. The 911E replaced the 911L that stands for “Luxury”. The 911E has been developed for more comfort than the 911S. The 911E is therefore positioned between the 911T (Touring) and the 911S (Super). The E stands for the German “Einspritzung”, which means injection. This “mechanical fuel injection, MFI” was developed by Bosch and Porsche.
The 911E was supplied as standard with the ‘comfort’ package: Ventilated brake discs with aluminum calipers, velor carpet, leather-covered steering wheel, heavy bumpers, rubber protective plates, and chrome accents.
For sale here by a passionate classic car, collector is a 1968 911E 2.0lt Porsche. It had a nut and bolt restoration done a couple of years ago including a full engine rebuild. It is a very good driver and looks stunning in the burgundy-red color combination. It is fitted with the 5-speed 901 gearbox.
There is nothing to spend on this beautiful classic Porsche. Great investment
