  • Clean Carfax report available!

  • 16” alloy Fuchs-style wheels

We are pleased to present this one-of-a-kind 1982 Porsche 911 SC Outlaw Coupe.  This build combines heart-pumping performance with the iconic styling of Porsche’s RS air-cooled designation to create a driving experience desired by so many.  The “Lightweight R” started life as a purpose-built race car that was created from the ground up with performance parts and race-ready features. This provided for an excellent platform before being converted to a street car soon after.  This example is now being offered in excellent condition by a Porsche specialist in Florence, AL.

Originally finished in Guards Red, this “Lightweight R” now features a beautiful period correct Signal Orange exterior that is presented in excellent condition.  All work done on the car was performed by Synergy Racing,  a legendary Porsche builder out of Danville, VA with a reputation for building extremely high-quality vehicles.  Focused on race-ready lightness and scintillating performance, a couple of hand-selected exterior features include a fiberglass RS Duck Bill Wing and an RSR style front bumper to give the car a more aggressive silhouette and improved aerodynamics.  This 911 sits on black 16” alloy Fuchs-style wheels that come wrapped in Continental Extreme Contact tires with a good amount of tread life remaining.  Finishing off the eye-catching look of this outlaw is set of Bilstein Sport Shocks which increase the vehicle’s stance and performance.

Inside, this outlaw sports a black leather interior that is contrasted by aluminum trim pieces.  This race-ready cockpit means business and features a pair of sport seats with Planted Tech seat mounts, Schroth seat belts connected to a Weltmeister belt bar, Rennline aluminum pedals and floorboards, RS style door panels and carpets, LED gauge upgrades, and a Porsche Design Momo steering wheel.  The build features a streamlined Rennline dash upgrade with no radio, heat, or air conditioning controls.  All components of this interior are in working order.

Power comes from a factory 3.0L flat-six engine which has been short stroked to 3.2L. The larger capacity engine produces 255 HP to the rear wheels through a lightweight Sachs clutch and a 915 transaxle 5-speed manual transmission. This high-performance build features several highly desirable modifications including:

Aluminum Fly Wheel
Boxster Front Brakes
Power Slotted Rotors
Weltmeister Front & Rear Sway Bar (22mm)
Rear Torsion Bar (29mm)
Turbo Tie Rods
Wevo Short Shift Kit
The seller notes a PPI was performed by Euroclassics Porsche in December 2017 with excellent results and no noted issues.   A recent service has been completed with new oil, filters, and plugs.

The sale will include documentation on the build, books, a clean Carfax, and keys. Offering a supreme driving experience with truly one of a kind looks, this build makes a great all-around car for any serious enthusiast.
