The base Car was delivered to Kansas, US in 1985 and found it’s way to Europe 4 Years ago. The Car was a rust and accident free and originally painted in Grand Prix white. The owner started the conversion with the aim to have the Iconic look of the RS paired with the usability of the latter Carrera 3,2. The Car is finished in Grand Prix white with green lettering.
The owner took a lot of attention to detail in transforming the car from its original 1985s aesthetic into the 2.7 RS appearance. The engine lid, the boot lid as well as the front and rear bumpers and the Fenders were ‘backdated’, using Carbon Fibre derivats from the company mrs-design.
Looking at it, this is a very authentic recreation of the 2.7 RS aesthetic.
4 years after the built, the bodywork and paint are in very good condition. The Car was rarely used, which you can see on the Paintwork. No chips or dents around the car.
The interior seats are upholstered with the characteristic Pepita.
The Owner kept all the original parts, in case you want to convert it back to original. These parts are part of the auction.
