Porsche 911 2.0T Hotrod
Built in December 1968, this 911 is the first Long Wheel Base B-series Porsche with a Karmann body.
Originally finished from factory in Burgundy Red / 6808 it was later changed attractive silver metallic that it is presented in today.
The car has been subject to a number of minor modifications giving it the more ‘hotrod’ look including the triple black stripes over the top of the car, race inspired bonnet catches, period style bucket seats, which hold you in place nicely when cornering at speed, lightweight door cards, a mesh engine grill and 4-point harnesses. The car has also had its airbox swapped out for air filters allowing for a lovely induction noise from the weber carburettors.
The dog-leg 901 gearbox is in great order and really adds to the classic driving experience of this little 911, combined with the euphonious, strong performing engine makes it a real pleasure to drive.
A matching numbers 911 that can either be enjoyed as is or would be a good candidate for restoring back to its original factory specification.
