This 911T is in a consistently good and original condition. The Porsche birth certificate confirms both the original exterior color in burgundy red and the interior color in light brown (then artificial leather, now in genuine leather). This 911T also still has its original engine - the engine number and engine code are also noted on the delivery confirmation.
There are several documents from the time in the USA, but this coupé underwent the most extensive overhaul in Germany, directly after the re-import in 2018 and 2019. Here, the vehicle was dismantled, the bodywork was repaired, the exterior was painted, the interior was renewed and various technical work was carried out. In 2019, the transmission was overhauled and in 2025, the carburetor was extensively overhauled. Much of the work is documented with photos and invoices.
HISTORY
This 911T Coupé has an extensive documented history.
According to the Porsche birth certificate, this 911T was first delivered to the USA in June 1969. There the car ran in Dallas, Texas. The oldest records date back to 1980, at that time with a mileage of just over 27,000 mls. A total of three owners are documented in the USA, the first owner had the vehicle until 1983, the second until 2006 and finally the last US owner until the time of the reimport in 2015. The 911T finally arrived back in Germany in the following year 2016, with a mileage of 41,391 mls, the equivalent of 66,225 km, when it was reimported.
In 2017, the 911T was finally registered in Germany and then extensively restored for the current owner. The scope of the restoration in 2018/2019 included bodywork, a full paint job in the original 6808 Burgundy Red color, the renewal of the interior and a technical overhaul including a transmission revision. Due to the relatively low mileage, the fuselage engine was extensively checked but not overhauled. This was simply not necessary. It was only last year that the carburetors of this 911T were finally extensively overhauled by our company.
In the course of the restoration, the speedometer was also converted to the EU standard (from miles to kilometers) and zeroed accordingly. Since completion of the restoration, this 911T Coupé has covered 15,271 km. If the mileage at the time of re-import or restoration is added to this, the total mileage of this vehicle is only 81,496 km.
