Porsche 911 T

In 2016 I found the car in an advertisement. It was red and, as was usual in the 80s, styled on turbo. Rear spoiler, wider rear tires and still an F model with 125 hp. I had no experience of how complex a renovation can be if you don't have any technical knowledge yourself, there was no rust protection for old cars and not every workshop can renovate an old Porsche.
In the end I decided to have the body of the car completely renewed by specialists in Hungary. Hard to believe how many parts such an old 911 consists of and how much Porsche parts cost! Cheap … doesn't exist! After all, I was able to fulfill my wish to drive with newly upholstered artificial leather seats with Pepita seats.
It took 2 full years to complete. In the end, the original engine and gearbox had to be reconditioned and in the end I came to the conclusion that you can't accept things by halves with a project like this.
Since then I have driven the car 3000 km on dry roads in the summer, appreciate its traction and am happy to drive an uncomplicated car. Above all, it makes me happy to meet friendly faces.
In the end I decided to go with my other air-cooled one. It remains my 993, but the choice was not easy for me!
