Very good and well maintained 1972 Porsche 911 2.4T Targa.
This car was originally a (F-Model), but several years after the acquisition, the first owner decided to restyled the car to the later “G-Model”, considered in those years a more modern car. This car is a fully matching numbers Targa, with original engine, gearbox and carbs. The car runs and drives very well. The current owner is a classics enthusiast and bought this Targa 15 years ago as a part of his small collection and only drives the car on sunny weekends.
BelgiumThis car was sold in Italy in September 1972. It remained in Italy till 2005 when it was acquired by a Belgian private.

This car is an original 1972 911 2.4T Targa (F-Model), however, a few years after the purchase, the Italian owner decided to re-styled the car to the later G-Model, considered in those years a more modern car.
Anyhow, the conversion was nicely and professionally done, both inside and outside in its Blutorange ( 018 Porsche color code). After all these years the paint is still very good all around the car. Conversion also included new seats and new Fuchs Cookie cutter rims with wider wheels ( 215/60 R15) which are authorized & certified by Belgian authorities ( Service public fédéral Mobilité e Transports)
No evidence of rust, repairs or prior accident damage. This car sleeps the whole year in a garage that is heated in winter, the car is driven only on dry days
A full “matching numbers” Porsche with its original engine, body, gearbox and carbs. No major service/repair since 2008:
The car is in very good condition overall and drives well. The car has Belgian “Oldtimer” registration with technical control valid till 09/2027.
Message for Purist Porsche enthusiasts : You would like to re-style the car “back to its original F-Model”? No problem, all parts are available in the aftermarket. With a relatively low investment project, the value of this car would go up to a six-figure value.
BUT, when you see the car…you might prefer to start driving it immediately as I did 15 years ago.
