CPR Classic is happy to offer this gorgeous Porsche 930 Turbo Carrera painted in Silver Metallic over a Russet interior.

This 930 has lived a loving life and is an original US delivery example. The car was delivered new at Orangeburg Porsche Audi in 1976. It remained in the United States for many years before being exported to Canada, where it lived until the early 2000s. The car was then purchased by a long time CPR Client who housed the vehicle on the east coast of the US until around 2009.

The vehicle in detail

In 2009 the car was sold to renowned Porsche factory race and test driver Willi Kauhsen. The Porsche world reveres Willi as one of the most essential pieces in the design and development of Porsche’s 917 factory racing program. He was the lead test driver, and the stories and adventures of his time with Porsche are incredible.

The car was exported to Germany and became a personal vehicle of Mr. Kauhsen’s that he drove regularly. While in Willi’s possession, he performed a restoration on the car, which included a complete exterior repaint and extensive mechanical work. When the car was restored, it was outfitted with correct parts for the European market that include euro rear bumper guards, signal lenses, and a Kilometer speedometer.

The car has covered just 71,000 kilometers (44,000 miles) in its lifetime and is a remarkable and well-sorted example throughout. The vehicle remains completely number-matching and can be re-fitted in US spec trim if the new owner prefers.
