"Mocha brown" is the name of the paintwork on this Porsche Turbo: According to the current owner, the paintwork was completely painted in the original color before. There are no discernible color differences on the bodywork, apart from lighter signs of wear, there are no defects in the paintwork. There is a small dent in the area of the rear bumper on the left side, otherwise the bumpers are not damaged in any way. The seller also excludes an accident in his holding period. The USA-specific bumpers and the third brake light at the rear of the car, which is placed above the huge rear spoiler, are also striking on this 911.
This 911 is fitted with tires from the Continental brand, which are in good condition (with a tread depth of 6mm) and mounted on original 5-spoke Fuchs rims – no curb scratches can be found on the Porsche aluminum rims. The brakes were recently made new, and a Bilstein chassis ensures improved road holding.
Leather in the color “cork” can be found in the interior of the 911 Turbo: the full leather seats, the door panels, the leather dashboard and the interior carpet are in this colour. In terms of condition, the interior of the Porsche can be attested to be in good condition, the downside is a crack in the dashboard and a stain on the roof lining. The equipment of this sports car includes a steel sunroof, electric windows, electrically adjustable seats, a 3-spoke leather steering wheel, air conditioning and a contemporary Porsche radio. All switches, levers, instruments and displays in the interior can be said to be in good working condition.
Almost 300 kilometers can currently be read on the speedometer. According to the seller, this Porsche should have run a total of 124,000 miles. Converted into kilometers, that would correspond to a mileage of almost 200,000. In view of this total mileage, the car can be said to be in good optical and technical condition – without knowing it, you would not expect such a mileage from this turbo.
With a displacement of 3.3 liters, this turbocharged six-cylinder boxer engine generates 265 hp (performance is somewhat throttled due to the stricter emissions regulations in the USA). The gears are engaged via a 4-speed manual transmission, current defects in the technology cannot be listed according to the seller. A last maintenance, in which all fluids were exchanged, took place in June 2021 – the spark plugs were last renewed and the battery was new.
Given the age and mileage of the Porsche, the underbody is in good, rock-solid condition. If you are looking for a classic sports car with turbocharging from the "old school", you will not be able to avoid a 930 Turbo.
