An exceptionally good example of the 964 is for sale. It is the popular variant as a Carrera 2 Coupé with rear-wheel drive and manual transmission. In this early variant also with the slim steering wheel without an airbag.
As a new car, it was delivered to its first owner and his wife on June 13, 1990 at the Porsche Center in Kempten, as she drove the car. They ordered the car in guards red with black leather and without a sunroof. In addition, the couple chose a few important extras such as: comfort seat for the driver including lumbar support, seat heating on the left and right, a Blaupunkt radio, the rear window wiper and the sought-after automatic air conditioning system.
The car was driven by the lady for 1.5 years and then sold at the beginning of 1992 with approx. 10,000 km to the second and last owner here from the East Westphalia region.
He kept the car for a total of 31 years and only used it for the occasional weekend drive. The car was continuously registered and was driven regularly, but little. It has always been in the garage and has been treated with great care from the start.
It is thanks to this special circumstance that the car has been preserved in such an exceptional condition. The interior has almost no signs of wear and is perfectly preserved. The original paintwork is also excellently preserved and many small details show that the car has rarely seen a drop of rain and has been driven very carefully.
The first three inspections and an additional brake fluid change were made in the PZ. Then the owner decided to go to a very experienced independent Porsche workshop that had more experience with the car, which was now over 20 years old. In March 2023, the car then received a fresh major inspection with various additional work for almost €5,000 and is therefore immediately ready for the new season.
I had original 17 inch Porsche Cup rims fitted. The wider rim of the 964 turbo, which stands better in the wheel arch, was deliberate. The original 16 inch rims are included with it. The owner had the original square mirrors, which the 1990 car still had ex works, exchanged for the newly introduced, more beautiful Cup mirrors at the Porsche Center. If you want original mirrors, you can have them installed before delivery in exchange for the cup mirrors.
The car can be viewed at any time with us in 33415 Verl. A lifting platform is of course available for you.
