The 991.2 generation, introduced for model year 2017, marked a fundamental shift in the 911’s evolution. For the first time in Carrera history, Porsche replaced its naturally-aspirated flat-six with a new 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged engine, delivering 420 PS and 500 Nm in the Carrera S—figures that exceeded even the outgoing 997 Turbo. Beyond the powertrain, Porsche re-engineered the car’s steering, suspension, and electronics to sharpen feel without losing the analog clarity that defines a 911. Revised dampers lowered ride height by 10 mm, steering response quickened through an electric rack shared with the 911 Turbo, and optional rear-axle steering transformed agility and stability alike.

Inside, a new Porsche Communication Management system with Apple CarPlay modernized connectivity, while subtle materials upgrades kept the cabin’s simplicity intact. The result was a 911 that blended everyday usability, digital polish, and the mechanical honesty of a rear-engine sports car—arguably the sweet spot of the modern era.

Completed in May 2017 and first registered in Germany, chassis WP0ZZZ99ZHS117136 is a 991.2 Carrera S finished in Graphite Blue Metallic (code M5G) over Espresso Natural Leather. It is equipped with Porsche’s PDK dual-clutch transmission, rear-axle steering, and Sport Exhaust System, along with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+), and 20-inch Carrera Sport wheels painted Jet Black Metallic. The interior features the Carbon-Fiber Interior Package, Sport Seats Plus, Alcantara headliner, Light Design Package, and auto-dimming mirrors with rain sensor.
