Carfax reports this 1995 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet was sold new in Nevada summer 1995. The vehicle moved to California in 1996 and has resided there since. The seller purchased the vehicle in April 2006 and has added approximately 65,000 of the total 132,400 miles shown. Service records from 2006 are provided. The seller lists a number of upgrades, including 19-inch Fuchs-style alloy wheels, Porsche RoW suspension springs, Fister Stage 2 modified OEM mufflers, and an Alpine audio system.
The 993-chassis Porsche 911 (1995-1998 in the US market) was the swan-song for the air-cooled 911 engine and chassis. The updated 3.6L flat-six developed 270 horsepower and was paired with a 6-speed version of the famed “G50” manual transmission. The 993 was also the most advanced version of the air-cooled chassis to date and featured contemporary strut-type suspension, kinematic passive rear-steering, ABS, all-wheel-drive, and more.
