It all started off with the Porsche 996 GT3 and the first generation was an immediate hit. A sportscar with razorsharp steering, a naturally aspirated 3.6 litre boxer engine and a manual gearbox make this a real racecar for the streets. This engine is designed by Hans Mezger, an engine that proved itself in competition after winning the GT1 class at 24 Heures du Mans 1998. Those who bought a GT3 back in the days had this racing engine in their street cars to enjoy on a daily basis. Sprinting to 100 km/h takes less than 5 seconds and top speed exceeds 300 km/h thanks to the 360 horsepower engine.
