At the time Porsche introduced the 997 model in 2004, they decided to still launch one last edition of the 996 and named it “Turbo S”. It came equipped with the most desired options including an X50 performance package (450hp instead of 420), ceramic brake sets (PCCB), GT-silver wheels and many more. It was a spectacular close to a very successful period of selling the 996 generation. In total Porsche built the Turbo S 1563 times, including 600 coupe’s of which only 186 (!) with a manual gearbox. Herewith we present you therefore an absolute rare car – already a collectable – in an outstanding condition.
As the pictures tell already most of the story, it is needless to say that this car looks absolutely stunning. The combination of its black exterior with yellow PCCB details and a full black leather interior with yellow stiches and matching seatbelts (XSY) will excite any Porsche enthusiast. This finished with the carbon short shift gear knob (X47 & XCZ) and carbon handbrake handle (X58) makes it absolutely perfect.
This basalt black 996 Turbo S is completely original, accident free (completely first paint!), has a very low mileage of about 45.000km which is confirmed by Porsche Classic Centre Gelderland in The Netherlands and has no over rev’s. In 2022 alone, 10.000EUR of maintenance was invested to maintain the car in its excellent condition. The car comes with a full binder of history including a recent 111 points check by Porsche Classic Centre Gelderland (NL), original birth certificate and a valuation report. I dare to say that you are not going to find a better Turbo S on the market than this one!
