Open the glass roof and enjoy breezy autumn drives with this rare and sought-after gem! From all Porsche 911 series 997.2, only 2560 units 4S targa were produced worldwide, most certainly less than half were produced with manual transmission, they are becoming virtually non-existent.

The Targa 4S facelifted body version was announced in June 2008, featuring a new fast-opening (7 sec) glass-roof, which blocked about two-thirds of the sunlight and took only about 17% of the thermal energy. Considering this, it was easier to drive with the glass-roof closed under the sun than in a convertible. An interior fabric roll cover increased the shade to 96%. Inside, the Targa 4 S featured a cabin better organized than its coupe sibling, due to the rear opening windscreen. That allowed an increase for the storage compartment behind the rear seats. With the seatbacks folded, the result was a storage compartment larger and more convenient than the trunk itself.

This car was first registered in Germany end of 2008, one of the early face-lifted 997. Bought by current owner in Germany at Porsche specialist at SWS Sportwagen-Service after they had conducted a complete engine overhaul at around 103k km, then imported to NL. 3 previous owners known of.

Maintained at Porsche Service Centers for most of the time in Germany. In NL, the car was looked after by Porsche specialist Service 611 in Tilburg which performed the last “big service” in July 2023.

The car comes with two sets of 19″ wheels (1x winter tyres (good condition) on Porsche turbo wheels, 1x summer tyres (very used condition) on Carrera Sports wheels).
