“Thank you for your interest in our 2005 Porsche 997. This terrific example, featuring special order Slate Grey Metallic over a black interior, has been meticulously maintained since purchase. The original owner used the vehicle as a daily driver for nearly 14 years. This 997 was sold to a friend in early 2019, and we purchased shortly thereafter. The car has no cosmetic or performance modifications other than the Motorola Bluetooth phone system which was installed in 2006. Service records going back to original purchase, along with manual and original sticker are included. It features new Pirelli P-Zero Rosso tires and newly refinished and wrapped 18″ wheels. The 997-chassis Porsche 911 Carrera S was produced for the 2005-2012 model years and is regarded by many as a return-to-form for the modern 911. The Cabriolet variant offered here received an evolution of the 3.6L flat-six rated at 325 horsepower. That power is delivered through a 6-speed manual transaxle and distributed via an electronically assisted limited-slip differential. Porsche Stability Management helps keep things pointed in the right direction. Slate Grey Metallic as seen on this car was not optioned nearly as often as other grey colors offered at the time.
