Porsche 997 GT3 RS

Porsche 997 GT3 RS

Coupé, 2007

Highlights

  • Full cage
  • Impeccable condition!
  • Fast

The GT3 RS type 997, in addition to its specific fluorescent color and the inscription running on the profile of the car, is distinguished by a rear part significantly wider (+ 4.4 cm) than that of the GT3. In addition to the body-built visual aspect, this feature is intended to improve the directional stability of the car, but also its ability to absorb lateral acceleration.

Inside the car, there are two buckets, also made of carbon, and a roll bar painted in the same color as the body.

The driver, or rather the pilot, has a six-point harness, while the passenger has to spread his legs because of the huge “racing” fire extinguisher. In short, GT3 RS is synonymous with exclusivity, hardly suitable for supermarket parking lots!

The other eye-catching feature (apart from the black wheels) is the large carbon rear spoiler, which can be adjusted in angle to provide the necessary support for the track. The use of carbon for this aerodynamic appendage is part of a vast operation to reduce superfluous kilos, which has paid off, as the RS weighs 20 kilos less than the GT3.

The car we are presenting today has only covered 75 000 km. Always maintained in a Porsche specialist center with a regular follow-up.

Its condition is impeccable as well as its consumables. The PIWI test is shows Plage 3.
