RUF 2005 Porsche 997 Carrera S Cabriolet 6-Speed
One of a kind 2005 Porsche 997 Carrera S Cabriolet was professionally converted and built by authorized RUF installers at RAC Performance (RUF Auto Centre) in Dallas, Texas. This 2005 RUF has custom visual modifications and performance upgrades, making it a high-performance sports car. This Carrera boasts a fully customized 3.8L supercharged RUF engine, currently with 40369 miles (64968 kilometers) on the odometer imported from the USA into Canada. She is also being listed for sale locally.

This professionally wrapped Baby Blue color wrap tops off the coolness of this gem of a Porsche (original ‘Carrara White’ color finish underneath remains in excellent condition). This Carrera 997 highlights a custom RUF body kit consisting of a revised front bumper fascia, a rear bumper and side skirts to complete the RUF styling. She has a factory Metropol Blue cabriolet top (for sakes of clarity the top has a few small blemish markings, smaller than a few millimeters in diameter, picture shown), this is simply the result of top-down folding, it is not perforated and does not leak, I passed a hose over it for over 5 minutes and no leakage. Included on this RUF are the infamous 19 inch 5-spoke RUF wheels that were recently completely refinished to new and currently wrapped with brand new staggered Michelin tires (235/35 ZR19 front & 295/30 ZR19 rear).
Inside, the driver is seated in Sea Blue leather upholstered cockpit on front and rear seats, a new set of 997 RUF front carpets will be included. The interior is in excellent condition for 2005 with all white gauge cluster, with fully functional components and accessories and navigation prepared. Amenities include heated and powered front seats, self-dimming mirrors and a Bose High End Sound Package with 6-disc remote CD changer. This 997 boasts exclusive factory options including Porsche crested headrests, illuminated door-sill guards and a leather Sport steering wheel.
Powered by a RUF supercharger 3.8L flat-six engine fully rebuilt and tuned by RUF Automobile (a $25k additional price tag) with an estimated output of 420HP. A desirable 6-speed manual transmission drives the rear wheels along with the impressive exhaust sound allowing both driver and passenger to experience this German automotive power. Additional performance modifications include lowered sport suspension, a brand-new HD racing clutch and a top of the line $5k Cargraphic exhaust system. Factory features include Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and the Sport Chrono Package which allows the driver to adjust performance characteristics.
This RUF 997 has been thoroughly mechanically inspected and repaired with new gaskets, oil & spark plugs which was concluded in March, April 2023. This RUF now includes daytime running lights, and is in excellent driving condition.
Included in this one-of-a-kind supercharged RUF 997 are a set of two new keys fobs, original books, RUF documentation, several service records, a recent Carfax report, located in Montreal. The Carfax report does show an accident in 2005 (just body panels and the car was thoroughly inspected by my Porsche garage too), pictures of paint meter panel readings upon request they aren’t mine they are from previous seller. Front and rear bumpers were also recently repaired due to cracks, scuffs and scratches from previous owners however those were also refinished and repainted prior to being wrapped.
This rare supercharged RUF is 1 of 2 cabriolets produced for the 997’s in North America.
