Björn Andersen, the founder
Björn founded Hall 49 after he decided to follow his gut instinct without compromise. Born and raised in Lübeck, he began studying engineering after school, but realized that the university was not for him. He went into shipping, started working as a shipbroker, and moved around the world. But one thing never really let go of him: the passion for old cars and their great stories.
If you ask him why he turned his back on his previous life and fulfilled his own dream by founding Hall 49, then it is always about his ongoing passion for old cars, which he had shared with his father since childhood.
