European Collectibles purchased this car for a good local client in 2021. Upon receiving the car in our shop, the cosmetics were evaluated and found be quite impressive. A mechanical inspection followed, and the engine had good compression with all cylinders over 100 psi and leak down numbers showed less than 10%. A set of Weber carburetors had been installed but the original Zeniths came with the car. They, along with the distributor, were sent out to Carburetor Rescue for a full rebuild. Once back from rebuild they were installed, and a full service was performed. With beautiful black paintwork and a stunning red interior, the next natural thing to do was to spend $60,000 on a set of five Rudge Knock-off wheels. After delivery to the customer, he used it regularly in San Diego, CA and sent it back to us annually for service work and tuning.
