If anything can be more enjoyable than driving a Porsche, it would be driving an open-air Porsche. Here is an outstanding US-specification 356 B Cabriolet in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. It was completed on 20 February 1963 and shipped to Porsche Cars Pacific in Burlingame, California, near San Francisco, where it was sold to the Dalzell Graham Company. The second owner is shown as having been Mr Warren King of nearby Vallejo. The Kardex contains little data beyond the original paint colour, Elfenbein or Ivory, its interior material as red leather, and the engine and transmission numbers, 806854 and 62336, respectively. Two service entries are noted, in May of 1963 and February of 1964. At some later date, the original Type 616/7 Super 90 engine was replaced by a period-correct Type 616/12 1600 Super bearing engine number 700839.
