1964 Porsche 356 SC Coupe for sale!

This SC is delivered new by Scania Vabis Sweden in March 1964. Regarding the story of the of the last owner it only had two owners. He had it since 1977. Finding a 100% solid European 356 is a mission impossible. The bodies were hand built and beside the regular paint not protected against rust. This car had some body repairs in the past and is need of some body repairs but absolutely overall a solid car. The floors and doors are repaired in the past. Needs to be redone to make it really nice. This SC was delivered new in the color red. The last owner changed it in 1980 to black. Paint is old and has some scratches and other traces of use and aging. Front bumper comes with the car.

Interior The interior is redone in red. Needs carpet. Very nice period correct wooden steering wheel and headrests are added later.

Technical The 95HP engine is running very well. Has webers now but I have a set of Solex carburetors that comes with the car. The car has a European exhaust/heating system. The engine number is quite is special story. There are two 356sc’s delivered to Scania Vabis with the vin numbers 217621 and 217622. Both red and with identical options. The kardex of our car (217621)says it was delivered with engine 820769 but it has engine 820767 in it. If you take the kardex of 217622 it has engine number 820767 on it. Based on my 30 years of 356 knowledge and of other 356 friends this can only be a mistake made by the factory.

The gearbox is matching numbers and shifts good in every gear.

This 356 comes with Swedish papers and a kardex.
