In 2021, Porsche revealed that the 718 Cayman GT4 would join its track-focused RS (RennSport) lineup. As the hardcore version of the 718 series, the GT4 RS was equipped with the same naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine found in the 911 GT3. In mid-engine configuration, the high-revving engine delivered 493 horsepower and came exclusively with Porsche’s dual-clutch PDK transmission on the RS model.
