The Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS is the ultimate proof that pure driving pleasure still exists. This extreme version of the 718 Cayman represents the absolute pinnacle of what Porsche’s GT department can achieve. At its heart is a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter six-cylinder boxer engine, taken directly from the Porsche 911 GT3, which delivers no less than 500 hp and reaches a breathtaking rev limit of 9,000 rpm. This engine is distinguished by its linear power build-up and spectacular sound, partly thanks to the (carbon) air intakes that are located just behind the driver and the lightweight titanium exhaust of the Weissach package.
The chassis of the GT4 RS is fully focused on precision and maximum grip. Adjustable shock absorbers and spring struts from the Porsche GT development department and specific components such as stabilizer bars and suspension points, partly made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), ensure less weight and more rigidity.
