What makes the early 911s, Carrera RS, and the 2.7-litre « euro » Carrera so interesting and thrilling to drive is the Bosch Mechanical Fuel Injection (MFI) setup. The glorious sound and instantaneous throttle response has a remarkable feel compared to the computerized injection systems of the 70s and 80s. In the December 1974 issue of Motor magazine, the Carrera 2.7 MFI was extensively tested, and they measured a 0-60 mph time of 5.5 seconds.

The car underwent plenty of work to bring it back to current condition with a mild restoration in 2022. Finished in its original factory colour as seen here today. It was decided not to ‘back date’ the car to look like a pre IB 72/73 RS, but as it should be wearing its more boxy impact bumpers. At the same time, Dave the Trimmer worked their magic on the interior.

An absolutely lovely history file detailing lots of the car’s history is present.

This Light Yellow 2.7 MFi really is one to own. Being one of around 30 original UK RHD cars and finished in what we believe to be the best colour combination.
