One of the first 500

This 2.7 Carrera RS is #158, meaning part of the first 500 cars built for homologation. Delivered in Austria and brought to the Netherlands in the late 90’s. The car went through a full restoration from 2017-2019 and is now for sale. Original ‘Austrian Fahrzeugbrief’ and service book available, as well as a fully documented restoration. This RS in delivered in Hell Grün, which was only selected 11 times in the days. A truly rare opportunity to buy an RS restored at the highest levels, one of the first 500, matching numbers and in a rare and desirable colour.

This Carrera RS belongs to the initial series which was built to have the Carrera RS homologated. Number 158 left the factory at the end of 1972 and was delivered to its first female owner in Austria on December 15, 1972.

The car was delivered with option codes:

410 Sport seats Clothes/Leatherette
419 Retractable seat belts
440 Retractable Antenna left and loudspeaker

It spend its life in Austria till end of the nineties, belonged to Georg Konradsheim (writer of the big RS book) and was then imported into the Netherlands, where it had 3 owners in total.

The last owner decided to have a full restoration which was carried out in the years 2018-2019 by Roy van Lier. The car is now for sale and for anyone looking to add an icon to his/her collection, this the moment to act!
