The paintwork is well preserved, complemented by the Gold « Carrera » side script. Inside, the cabin presents beautifully with a leather-wrapped VDM steering wheel, original dash, VDO gauges, cold air conditioning, a Kenwood AM/FM stereo and Blaupunkt speakers. The restored 6” and 7” Fuch alloy wheels are mounted to Pirelli Cinturato CN36 tires (date-coded 2024). The undercarriage is original, solid, rust-free, and the suspension has been detail.

According to service records, the Carrera was sold to the second owner in San Clemente, California, on May 27, 1980, with documented history dating back to the first owner. Just before the purchase, the 2.7L flat-six engine was rebuilt by HG Bieker of Burbank, California, at 79,111 miles. The Carrera was regularly maintained by well-known Porsche specialists, including Andial, Autobahn West, and Bill Brewster Automotive, from the 1980s through the early 2000s.

After a period of light use and eventual long-term storage, this Carrera was acquired in 2025 by European Collectibles, who performed a comprehensive recommissioning, including:
