Chassis 9113201051 was built in May 1973 and delivered in August of the same year via Porsche Cars Great Britain. The car was one of 1,366 E coupes made in ’73 with only 105 being right hand drive, how many remain is unclear.  The car has lived in the UK through the entirety of its life for the past 51 years, changing hands just eight times in this period.

The car has been extremely well looked after as evidenced by the myriad of invoices in the well organised history file, which includes the car’s original service booklets.

In 2014 the car underwent a sympathetic refresh by Jon Miller of Classic Carrera in Limerick where it was stripped back to bare metal and was described by Jon to be the best RHD F series 911 he had ever seen with practically no corrosion found. The car was repainted in its original colour of Light Yellow while every effort was made to retain any original patina.

All the good condition glass, trim and interior were reinstalled, original paint in the bays left untouched and the original date stamped Fuchs left unrestored to name just a few of the many period details that remain intact.

As part of the refresh, the original engine was thoroughly rebuilt including shuffle pinning and line honing the journals, steps many would overlook. Every stage of the 2 year refresh was extensively documented with invoices and photographs, which is all included in the cars history file.

The car has continued to be lightly used and regularly maintained with the odometer showing 86,106 original miles.  The car was affectionately nicknamed “Sunny” by its previous owner, a well-known collector of rare right hand drive Porsche cars.
