Between 2011 and 2015, the artisans at GD Racing embarked on a remarkable journey, meticulously crafting a street-legal masterpiece that would pay homage to the original RSRs while delivering modern power and reliability. Now, in 2023, this exceptional 1950 lb RSR build has undergone a metamorphosis, emerging as the Lightweight Safari RSR – a force primed to conquer any landscape.

The exterior of this masterpiece wears the hallmarks of excellence, with Carbon Fiber Roof, Fiberglass Fenders, Doors, Hood, and Rear Decklid – a symphony of lightweight mastery. But the true marvel resides within, where the interior has been stripped to its essence. Inside the cabin, a Color-matched half cage takes center stage, while the removal of Sun Visors and Glove Box serves as a tribute to minimalist design. An RS Style Steering Wheel and ST Reproduction Seats complete the ensemble, immersing the driver in an environment that is both purposeful and elegant.

Powering this exceptional creation is a 3.6L Flat 6 sourced from the 993, paired with a regeared 915 transmission producing an estimated 310 Hp with a bespoke DME Flash and 1.75” headers.

The meticulously crafted suspension rests on brand new Elephant Racing components, while Braid Winrace wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich AT Tires ensure a commanding presence. The exceptional build quality is further underscored by the Elephant Racing Brake Upgrade, a 65 L Fuel Tank, and a 40% Locking ZF Limited Slip Differential.
