We’re delighted to welcome into our showroom, the exceptionally rare 911R. Unveiled in 2016, only 991 ‘R’ examples were produced worldwide with reportedly 73 coming to the UK. Of those 73 only a handful were Paint to Sample like this car we have, which is in stealthy ‘A1’ Black. The 2016 R was built to commemorate the 1967 911R which was the lightest, meanest, most focused 911 that had been made up until that point. The modern R was based on the 991.1 GT3RS but with less aero, a 6-speed manual transmission and less weight (circa 50kg), but still retained the sensation 4.0 naturally aspirated flat 6, which howls all the way to 8,600rpm red line. This particular R has a host of must have options, standout ones include front axle lift, 918 bucket seats, extended leather, BOSE stereo, LED lights and ofcourse the single mass flywheel, bringing a sense of motorsport into the driving experience. This three owner example has be maintained solely by Porsche main agents throughout its life and still retains 12-months Porsche extended warranty for total peace of mind.
