History
This 911 Targa was sold new by Autohaus Charlotte North Carolina USA in May 1971. It believed to have only two owners since new,
The last owner had it since 1989.
Condition
Body and paint
The body has no signs of any accidents.
Beside a little rust spot in the battery area rust free. All original floors and panels. Only the front bumper ws changed for a S version.
Paint
The 911 was dilivered new in the fantastic color Olive green.
In its life it was color changed to black.
The paint is still shiny and overall in a good condition. Windows out paint job.
Interior
The interior is in a nice mostly original condition, The very unique and expensive Sport seats are still in a original condition.
Carpet was replaced once.
Targa top fits very good. Outside is in a perfect condition. Headliner is a bit loose.
Technical
This 911 was parked for a long time in the last owners garage. When we bought it was not running.
We did the following work:
– New original Full pump
– New Tires
– New sparks and spark wiring
– New filters
– Brakes rebuilt
– Cleaned the tank
– New tires
– EU Head lights and tail lights
The engine was rebuilt just before the last owner parked it. No invoice of records but the engine runs really well and has no excessive leaks or smoking.
