While overseas, the Porsche 930 was known simply as the 911 Turbo, first-year US delivery examples were marketed and badged as the “Turbo Carrera.” Ordered new in Light Yellow over Black leather, this Turbo Carrera was delivered new to California with rare optional equipment, including a limited slip differential and sport seats, both of which it retains to this day. Following its delivery, the car stayed in the Southwest, where it was serviced regularly and preserved in largely original condition.

Purchased by its current owner in 2009, it has been subject to recent extensive upgrades, including a fresh coat of Light Yellow paint and period-correct Pirelli tires and its original 3.0-liter turbocharged flat-six has been enlarged to 3.2-liter displacement. Despite appearing visually stock, the engine is coupled with a Motec electronic fuel injection system, providing a more modern driving experience. Now presented with just 41,000 miles and accompanied by extensive service records, this first-year 930 is ready to be enjoyed by its next caretaker.
